We are not like this new trend, and we operate in Dubai Switzerland and London, follow real European spa  standards, unlike many European spas we are not Russian owners or Ukrainian who do not pay massage therapists a salary or benefits.  We are not part of these new Dubai hotels which lease their spa to Russian or Ukrainian owners who call themselves European and then can not afford masssage  therapists monthly salary!  They price the massages way below market rate in order to encourage male customers to come for cheap price.  The staff must work for free and earn money for tips.  That way heavy hard sell on the customer in room for "TIPs" This is extremely unprofessional.  The massages are usually short and period spent in room is mostly spent on sales! This is not the way taught to Europe where therapists must be qualified, and perform  good quality massages minimum of one hour, staff should not be using their time and customers paid time  wasting it for selling extra services. Not everyone does this, but this now at latest trend coming into Dubai.
